SIMPLE THINGS

I truly believe that it is the simple things in life that brings immense and true happiness. For instance i would prefer to go to an amusement park any day over clubs/pubs. I would choose panipuri (indian snack) over tiramisu. I would love to spend an evening in Starbucks with my hubby, over fine dining. It's always the simple and small things that really makes you happy at heart. And the best part is that these simple things are cheap, you don't have to plan a lot for them, and the happiness is instant. Now who would not want all of these?

Here are some simple things that you can do right away to make you happy :

• Compliment someone. Yes. Trust me. Compliments are not great only when you receive them. Try complimenting someone(make sure the compliment is genuine though. Fake ones won't do any good). Want to add a bonus point? Compliment a stranger. Say for her shoes, hair, clothes, etc. And you'll feel really happy about it.
• Go out in the mall all alone. Why do we always need to have our hubby or friends with us when we go out malling? Try going out alone. You need not buy anything. Just look around, grab a coffee along and enjoy your own company.
• Play games online. Games like super mario, Pacman and many other brings back so many childhood memories. I can spend all day playing these games. 
• Clean your closet. I love cleaning and arranging my closet. The satisfaction you get after doing it is something i really like.
• Bake. Baking is a big stress buster for me. The mixing of all beautiful ingredients, putting it in the oven, the aroma that fills your entire house, and then the final product. All the entire experience is so beautiful. 
• Swinging on a swing. Now who doesn't like this. Just leave your hair open and enjoy the swing. 
• Read old mails/Sms/Cards/Letters. Mails from your best friends, old SMSes exchanged with your hubby when you guys were dating each other. They will make you fall in love with your better half all over again. 
• Hug. Hugging is the bestest, warmest, sweetest thing ever. You feel content, safe and loved. Go hug the person next to you right away.
• Put on your favorite music and Dance. Dance like there's no tomorrow. Dance like no one's watching.
• Paint your nails in bright colours. 

And lastly, dress well even if you are going to run your daily errands. Tracks, Jeans and t-shirts, should not be your uniform for your daily chores. Dress up even if you are going to buy your groceries. This is what i wore yesterday while doing my groceries.

The weather here in NC is getting very confusing. This particular day the temperature was pleasant but it was slightly windy. So i decided to add a scarf. Since the entire outfit was all grey and white i added a colorful footwear. The length of the shirt is perfect specially when you have to bend down to reach the lower shelves in the stores.

So go ahead, and SIMPLY enjoy your day :)
