Beach Essentials

Around 5 months back Hubby & I went to Newport,RI. I can’t even start to describe how breathtakingly beautiful the place is. Also, since I am from Bombay (Mumbai), India and I have a soft spot for beaches, they give me this“feel at home” feeling which no other place can. Now don’t conclude that i am not fond of other places than beaches. I am. But Beaches, well they always do the trick for me. I got back to Rhode Island after a 3months long vacation from India (read Bombay :P). And as it was expected from me i did get homesick theday minute i reached here. So my Einstein Husband thought of taking me to a Beach.

Tip : I always try to add shorts to a dress especially to a beach, since it's always windy there. That way you can avoid all the Marilyn Monroe moments.

Here is a Packing list for your next Beach Trip:

Sunscreen - the first item that should go in your bag is a good Sunscreen. I swear by Neutrogena’s oil-free Sunblock with SPF45. You can also get this awesome Wet Skin Sunblock Spray from Neutrogena. It works great for beaches.

Lip Balm, Sunglasses, Hat, Beach towels, Hand Sanitizers, Bottle of water, Snacks, Mat, Tissues, Water Friendly Foot-Wear.

I always prefer to wear a water-friendly footwear(especially sandals) than compared to flip-flops. Because the former are more comfortable and keep your feet really clean as well. 

Also, do carry a jacket or a beach cover-up for the evenings when in gets slightly cold.
